Maine Kayaking and Whitewater Rafting Trip Combo:

This multi day and multi element trip offers the best of both the kayaking and rafting worlds. The first day we will leisurely kayak with friends on local lakes and flat water rivers, while learning new skills outdoors and communing with nature. The second day we will gear up and set out on a wild whitewater rafting adventure down the Kennebec or Penobscot Rivers.

Day One:

The first day will begin with a kayaking adventure for people looking to get out doors for a new experience's. In the morning we will cover basic paddle stroke's and maneuvers and learn how to safety have fun in our sea kayaks. The goal of the morning of the first day is to provide a skill foundation to learn from and build on for a life time.

The Afternoon of the first day will be spent leisurely paddling across beautiful lakes or down wildlife abundant flat water rivers. The afternoon will be spent enjoying all that Maine's lakes and rivers have to offer. We will spend the day sightseeing and may spot such Maine wildlife as moose, osprey's, and eagles. We will spend the night back at the lodge sharing stories about our experience.

Day Two:

The second day will begin with a morning preparing for a fun day of rafting down some of Maine's wild and scenic rivers. The day will be spent rafting with Maine's leading whitewater rafting company North Country Rivers on either the Penobscot River or Kennebec River, you choose! A full B.B.Q river lunch will be provided wile we are on the river.

A professional Registered Maine Guide will be with you and your family or friends through out your Mild & Wild Adventure. We strive to provide a friendly and safe vacation environment. Both Maine Kayak and North Country Rivers adhere to stringent training and certification requirements for all of our guides and staff. Every guide will be register by the State of Maine, maintain a wilderness medical certification, and have years of Maine guiding experience.
