The Penobscot overnight kayaking trip is for outdoor enthusiast interested in exploring beautiful enchanted lakes during the day and sample real Maine lobster dinners at night. This three day overnight kayaking adventure offers a historical look back at the Northern Maine Woods and the explorers who use to paddle the lakes and rivers. Listen to the haunting call of loons over a moonlit Maine lake in the evening and paddle among moose, salmon and osprey during the day.

PRICE FOR 3 DAY OVERNIGHT - $405 PER PERSON

DAY ONE:

We will begin the first day on the Upper West Branch of the Penobscot River. After a short leisure flatwater paddling with plenty of chances to bird watch, moose watch, and sock in the beautiful outdoors. The afternoon will be spent relaxing at camp, telling stories, and making new life long friends. The nights festivities will be kicked off with a real Maine lobster dinner.

DAY TWO:

The second day will begin with a warm Maine breakfast full of fruit, pancake, and other morning foods. We will paddle are way down the river into Chasuncook Lake where we will camp among the tall pine trees on undiscovered islands. The opportunity to look for moose among the tall grass, discover the abounded fossils located on the sandy banks, and listen to the hundreds of different bird specials thriving in the Maine woods.

THIRD DAY:

The third day will begin with another great breakfast in the morning and by the afternoon we will be paddling our kayaks among the abundant wildlife wile snapping some memorable pictures. The final day will be dedicated to enjoying the abundant waters will gazing at the Majestic Mt. Katahdin in the background. We will end the day by paddling to the head waters of the rapidly flowing Penobscot River.
