Maine Kayak is based in the pristine wilderness of New England on several wild and scenic lakes and rivers in Maine. Enjoy learning the art of sea kayaking and whitewater kayaking while sharing memorable experiences with new found friends. Listen to the haunting call of loons over a moonlit Maine lake in the evening and paddle among moose, salmon and osprey during the day. We draw on 15 years of kayaking experience in providing you with a personalized experiential learning experience. Individualized attention, comfort and safety is insured by providing a low student to instructor ratio. Kayaking courses are offered ranging from half day to three day overnight trips. Add state of the art kayaks and equipment with competent certified instructors and you have “The Way Paddling Should Be!”

Maine Kayak offers half day, full day, and multi-day kayaking trips utilizing Maine’s massive watershed and the adventure it provides. Maine Kayak is the first kayaking company to offer participants an option to choose from a variety of kayaking vacations. Maine Kayak will provide several paddling options ranging from white water kayaking lessons for beginners to advanced paddlers on the Penobscot and Kennebec Rivers, multi-day lake touring trips on such watersheds as the Allagash Wilderness Waterway, Sebago Lake, Belgrade Lake, Ambejejus Lake, and Moosehead Lake, and coastal sea kayaking tours along Muscongus Bay, Penobscot Bay, Acadia National Park, and Casco Bay.

Maine Kayak offers guided leisure lake kayaking and sea kayaking day trips based in New England, taking full advantage of Maine's recreational environment ranging from beautiful wilderness lakes teeming with wildlife to scenic and serene flatwater rivers. Through years of experience guiding participants down the wild and scenic rivers of Maine, instructing flatwater and whitewater paddling skills, and years of instructing sea kayaking on Maine’s coast, we will offer a real “Maine Kayak adventure.”
